My cat had been struggling with fleas ever since she was born (or when she can get fleas). Her mother was an outdoor cat, so naturally, she "inherited" the fleas. After attempting to bathe the poor kitty every two weeks, I decided to get her Advantage. After application, her scratching subdued dramatically. She finally slept in peace, but there are still some fleas on her that probably jumped on around the end of the application's effectiveness. I have to reapply it on her tomorrow, and I still see minimal scratching due to fleas.

Anyway, great product.

We bought this from amazon and it did not work at all. We tried it on our strictly indoor cats who got fleas after a visitor came over, they have a dog. We believe the fleas hitched a ride. We ended up doing two months of treatment and nothing, the fleas were actually getting worse. We went to Petsmart and the sales girl told us not to buy these products online to save a few bucks because a lot of times they are fake. Bought the product at Petsmart and it looked completely different than what Amazon gave us. The one from Petsmart left an oily appearance on the fur for over a day, the one from amazon nothing! After a day the product from Petsmart fixed the problem. We couldnt find one flea on the cats. I will be demanding my money back from amazon!
